Plant Sale Information & Policies

Quick Summary: Order online, select a pickup time, and we’ll have your plants ready when you arrive.

By placing an order through the Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center plant sale, you agree to the policies outlined below. This page provides important information to help ensure a smooth pickup experience for all customers.

Ordering & Pickup

  • All plant sale purchases are pickup only
  • Shipping and delivery are not available
  • Pickup appointments are selected during checkout
  • Orders must be picked up during the scheduled time window

Pickup Timing & Plant Care

  • Plants are guaranteed healthy through your scheduled pickup time
  • Once pulled, plants are no longer in optimal growing conditions
  • We cannot guarantee plant condition beyond your appointment window

Pickup Location

Pickup takes place in the circle parking lot in front of the center.

🚗 Pickup Directions

On regular pickup days (no open shopping):

  • Enter through the ranch gate
  • Follow the drive until you reach the plant area
  • The plants and tall shade structure will be on your right

During open shopping hours:

  • The ranch gate will be closed
  • Please park in the gravel lot
  • Walk over to the plant sale area

If you need assistance due to mobility concerns, please get the attention of a staff member or volunteer—we are happy to help.

When You Arrive

  • Customers are served based on arrival time and appointment window
  • Multiple customers may be scheduled within the same time slot
  • If no staff member is present, call (469) 526-1980

Order Release

  • Orders must be released by a staff member
  • Please do not remove plants without assistance
  • Orders are released only to the purchaser or an authorized pickup person
  • ID and/or signature may be required

Plant Selection & Sales Policy

  • Plants are pulled in advance for your order
  • Please inspect plants before accepting your order
  • All sales are final once plants leave our possession
  • No returns or exchanges

Plant Representation

  • Photos represent mature plants
  • Plants received reflect the size and stage appropriate to the container
  • Color and appearance may vary by growing conditions and screen display

Scheduling & Service

  • Multiple appointments may occur within each time slot
  • Customers are assisted as efficiently as possible based on arrival and schedule

Coupons & Discounts

Coupons valid for the gift shop or admission are not valid for plant sale purchases.
