Thank you for supporting the Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center. This page covers what to expect from our plant sale, including ordering, pickup, and important sale policies.

How It Works

  • Shop online and place your order
  • Select a pickup time during checkout
  • Arrive during your scheduled window and we’ll have your plants ready for pickup

Pickup Location

Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center
1206 W FM 1382
Cedar Hill, TX 75104
  • Pickup takes place in the circle parking lot in front of the center
  • On days other than our live sale date, you may enter through the ranch gate and continue around to the shade structure on your left

Pickup Timing

  • Orders are ready during your selected 15-minute timeslot
  • Please plan to arrive during your scheduled window
  • We cannot guarantee plant quality beyond your appointment time, as plants are removed from their optimal growing conditions once pulled

When You Arrive

  • Customers are served based on a combination of arrival time and scheduled appointment time
  • If no staff member or volunteer is present when you arrive, please call the building at (469) 526-1980

Order Pickup

  • A staff member must release your order to you
  • Please do not leave with plants unless a staff member has assisted you
  • Orders are released only to the person who placed the order or an authorized pickup person named during checkout
  • We reserve the right to require ID and/or a signature before release

During Your Timeslot

  • Multiple customers may be scheduled within the same 15-minute pickup window
  • Please be patient as we assist others who may have the same appointment time

Important Information

Order Pickup & Responsibility

  • We pull plants for you prior to your appointment
  • You will have the opportunity to review and accept your plants at pickup
  • If there is an issue, it must be addressed during your scheduled appointment

Missed Appointments

  • Orders not picked up during the scheduled appointment are not eligible for refund
  • If you are running late, please call us — we will do our best to accommodate when possible

Plant Condition

  • Please inspect your plants before leaving
  • Once plants leave our possession/property, all sales are final
  • We do not offer returns or exchanges after pickup

Plant Photos

  • Website photos represent the mature plant
  • The plant you receive will be in a stage of growth appropriate to its pot size
  • Colors may appear differently depending on your device or screen settings

Pickup Only

  • Shipping and delivery are not available
  • Orders must be picked up during the scheduled appointment
  • Plant health is guaranteed through your scheduled pickup time

Coupons & Discounts

  • Coupons valid for the Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center gift shop or admission are not valid for plants or other items sold through the plant sale

A Quick Note: We are a small team managing a busy seasonal fundraiser. We will do our best to honor special requests when possible, but response times may vary and we may not be able to accommodate every request.
